Kigali is the main international gateway into Rwanda. Regardless of where you are from, if you intend to fly into Rwanda, you will have to enter through Kigali international airport but that never the end of your journey. What Do You Need To Drive In Rwanda

Your driving license is only valid for three months, after this period, you must get a local driving license.

If you intend to hire an SUV; the prices vary according to the year of manufacture. Vehicles of 2015 and above are often ranging between $150 and $350 per day.

Where To Pick Up Your Car In Kigali
The most common practice is to have the car delivered at your Hotel in Kigali or at Kigali international airport. However if you prefer to pick up the car from the company offices, that is also possible. But the norm is having the car delivered to you.
